What a Collision Repair Involves
Every accident is different, but most repairs move through the same stages.
- We start with an assessment of the structural damage, not just the visible panels. A vehicle can look straight and still be out of alignment underneath.
- Structural straightening comes next, using a scissor lift chassis aligner to bring the vehicle back to its original measurements. Nothing cosmetic happens until this is right.
- We then repair or replace damaged panels, and save bars, tanks and other plastic components where we can. Replacing every damaged component isn't always necessary.
- The vehicle finishes in the spray booth for colour matching and refinishing. We check the finish against the surrounding panels before it leaves the workshop.
